A Sneak Peak at Poppin's New York City Headquarters

If you would describe your office decor as dull, it's time to add a pop of color to your productive place.

And we've got just the source for you!
Poppin, the inspired office supply company that opened its (electronic) doors to the public about 4 weeks ago, seeks to to address a problem that they (and Office Envy) believe has been dragging work life down into the dumps. Specifically, that "the market is saturated with nearly identical mega-retailers that sell dull products, offer unremarkable customer service, and provide a bland shopping experience," according to Poppin's press release.

Enter Poppin to save the day. Aptly named for their products' "eye poppin" colors, this company seeks to bring the high quality of merchandise and soulful service that we've come to expect from brands like Starbucks, Apply, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods to the office supply industry.

They told Office Envy, "we started Poppin to become the first retailer that makes buying, using, looking at, and thinking about office products an extraordinary experience."

And by the way - the "we" in that statement are a dynamic duo who are no strangers to the business building scene. Poppin is the brainchild of Chris Burch - an early and active investor in entities like Voss Water and Tory Burch - and Ken Seiff, founder and former CEO of Bluefly.com. And their vision for Poppin goes beyond just desk top supplies. Plans for expansion are already in the works...furniture, retail boutiques, a line of Poppin office snacks. Keep an eye out for these guys.

We're sensing an office supply revolution brewing.

We here at Office Envy love Poppin because they share our belief that by re-imagining
the modern work environment into something exciting and compelling, we can transform not just our work spaces but our work lives, infusing them both with color, spirit and life.
It's possible, we both believe, to -- as Poppin put it--Work. Happy.

Take a peek at our behind the scenes tour at Poppin's New York City headquarters.

Enjoy!

  1. SO cool. I saw Poppin on another blog for the first time a few days ago and placed an order the same day (and promptly did my own blog post!). I can't wait for it to come in. Nice pictures here!
