European Office Accoutrements

By now you know that we here at Office Envy just returned from a prolonged traipse through Europe - and we thought you might be interested in some of the trends in office accessories on the other side of the pond.

As it turns out, if you want to infuse your office with a hint of European appeal you'll need:

  • Bold, bright colors

  • Lots of leather

  • Striking textures and patterns...crocodile was particularly big, as was toile

  • A high credit score - because that Euro/dollar exchange rate is no joke

Here are a few pics that we took while window shopping across "the continent".

From Giorgio Fedon 1919 in Paris:

Orange briefcase.

Orange iPad case in croco leather.

In Oslo, Norway these inflatable flower vases in bold colors were popular.

All through Scandinavia, office furniture is extremely sleek and modern. Lindbak in Oslo has a particularly large collection.

In Venice, Italy bright colors and bold patters were prevalent at Il Prato and there were almost as many stationary stores as pizza places, which says a lot.
